After much thought and consideration and due to adverse weather conditions and significant rainfall overnight, the medical and safety teams in consultation with CSA and Bike Fest Paarl have decided to cancel the 43kms and 26kms S.A. XCM Championship races due to be held at Rhebokskloof today, 5 March 2023. The kids races planned for this afternoon will also no longer go ahead.
This decision has not been taken lightly, but rider safety remains our top priority and cannot be compromised. For this reason all of Paarl Trails’ trails around Paal will also be closed today.
The Expo and Festival will go ahead as planned. The demo bike and track is accessible and therefore will be open, so please join us to test ride some of the latest bikes on offer from all the top brands and exhibitors.
