Our trails might be closed, but our trailheads aren’t!

Here’s a breakdown of some of the things on offer around Paarl:

Rhebokskloof:
Wine Tasting: The standard wine tasting costs R75 while the Premium tasting costs R100. Tasting fees are refunded against any purchases. An added benefit is the knowledgeable and passionate wine advisors.
Pizza: A seriously delicious range of pizzas with dough made from oo flour are available. And remember, pizza is best enjoyed with friends and family. The estate is child-friendly with plenty of room for kids to run around.

Spice Route:
Wine Tasting: A range of wine journeys are offered: Winemaker’s, Wine and Charcuterie, Wine and Vegetarian, and Wine and Dessert. Prices range from R75 to R150. There really is something for everyone. If wine isn’t your thing, there’s beer tasting too!
Burger at Jewell’s: The regularly-updated menu includes mouthwatering burgers made from organic Red Angus beef from Charles Back’s herd. Celebrated chef and charcuterie whizz Neil Jewell, together with his wife Tina Jewell, are at the helm of this farm-to-table eatery.

Laborie Heritage Wine Estate:
Shopping at the Farm Grocer: Boer and Butcher: Open on Sundays with a blockman to ensure that you have the perfect cut. A range of spices, complements and fresh produce is also in store – afterall, this is where Laborie’s chefs shop afterall!
Sunday Roast at Suzanne: Served family-style, is the ideal alternative to Sunday roast at home. The added benefit? No cleaning up!

Knus Karoo Kombuis:
While Knus is closed on Sundays, Monday is waiting to greet you with the following:
Biltong Breakfast: How does poached eggs with beef biltong and hollandaise sauce served on roosterkoek sound? Really good we reckon!
Pulled Pork Roosterkoek: Deboned pulled pork served in BBQ sauce and all the goodies that go with it for lunch. Roosterkoek too much? Opt for the wrap instead.
